Form 4 · filed within 2 days, indexed in minutes

The trades that actuallymove stocks.

Every Form 4 the SEC publishes, pulled from EDGAR directly, classified, clustered, ranked. The signal you would have seen if you read every filing the hour it landed.

The window

Insider buying isn't an event. It's an accumulation.

A lone director buying is noise. The signal is density: distinct insiders stacking into the same name inside a tight window. So we don't show you a list. We show you the window filling up, filing by filing, until it trips.

Straight from the source

EDGAR direct. No aggregator sitting on the clock.

Form 4 is what every officer, director, and 10% holder files within two business days of a trade. We poll EDGAR's stream ourselves, so the window above starts filling the moment a filing posts, not when a reseller gets around to it.

Classified, then weighted

Not every Form 4 is a signal. We sort the ones that are.

Classification

Every filing tagged by transaction code: open-market buy, planned 10b5-1 sale, option exercise, gift. Mechanical and pre-scheduled sales are filtered out before anything reaches the window.

  • P open-market buy
  • S open-market sale
  • A grant / award
  • M option exercise
  • G gift
8 transaction codes normalized · mechanical sales suppressed

Role weighting

A CEO buying their own stock is a louder signal than a 10% holder rebalancing. Each filer's role tunes how heavily their buy counts toward the window's conviction.

  • CEO buy
  • CFO buy
  • Director
  • 10% holder

The payoff

One filing is a data point. The window turns it into a call.

Everything above resolves to one ranked row. The cluster that formed in the window, scored on role, dollar size, deviation from each insider's prior pattern, and proximity to earnings; top decile flagged.
